Hard Exo feels stiff and grippy right out of the wrapper, closer to a less rounded Discraft Special Blend Luna than to a soft putting plastic. It grabs the chains hard enough that spit outs are rare, and that grip barely fades even after a long season of putting practice.

The beadless, low profile shape slides cleanly out of the hand for a consistent release every time, which is exactly why this mold was built for putting even though plenty of players throw it as an approach disc too. It holds an anhyzer line and a straight line with almost the same ease, and the minimal fade means it will not surprise a spin putter or a push putter with a late turn. Distinct bevel work and a shallow but not razor thin rim make it comfortable for average sized hands, and it fits a fan grip as well as a full power driving putter grip.
