    Kastaplast Falk Review

The Falk is a workable fairway driver with maximum glide, reliable turn, and high-end speed for its class. This is one of the best intermediate-level workhorse drivers we have in stock, as it is capable of shaping tight lines in the woods and max distance lines on open fairways. This Kastaplast Falk review goes over this versatile driver for sale now.

    Kastaplast Falk Plastics

Disc aficionados revere Kastaplast for its comfortable yet durable plastic blends. Every company claims it has the highest-quality plastic, but in the case of Kastaplast, it may be true.

    • K1: Combines exceptional durability with a soft and grippy feel. While many premium plastics have a stiff and slick texture, Kastaplast threads the needle to produce an ultra-tough blend that maintains some flex and a comfortable hand feel.
    • K1 Soft: A gummy and flexible blend with exceptional grip in all weather conditions.
    • K1 Glow: A bright and long-lasting glow that will stay lit for several holes of night golf.

    Kastaplast Falk Flight Numbers

    • Speed: 9
    • Glide: 6
    • Turn: -2
    • Fade: 1

A combination of huge glide, generous turn, and gentle fade make the Falk a straight flyer that performs hyzer-flips, turnovers, and long-panning flex shots with ease. The 9-speed rating allows players to zoom down low-ceiling tunnels and get some extra distance on wide-open fairways. Players with lower arm speeds can expect a stable flight with a reliable fade.

    Dimensions

    • Diameter: 21.1cm
    • Height: 1.8cm
    • Rim Depth: 1.1cm
    • Rim Width: 1.9cm

The Falk features the domed flight plate and downward-sloped rim common amongst understable drivers. The 1.1cm rim depth is nice and shallow, while the 1.9cm rim width should feel comfortable for players of all hand sizes. This shape offers a perfect combination of workable flight with an added speed boost

    History

Released in 2017, the Falk was Kastaplast's first fairway driver, and it remains one of their most popular molds. Built for beginners, it was originally produced in lower weights. But as demand rose max weight Falks have become easier to find. The Lots and Stal have since joined the Falk in Kastaplast's fairway driver category.

    Skill Level Recommendations

    • Novice: An excellent option for beginners working their way up the speed ladder.
    • Intermediate: All-around workhorse that you can build a bag around.
    • Advanced: Understable finesse driver for controlled hyzer-flips and turnovers.
    • Pro: Niche disc for rollers and extreme turnovers.
