The Axiom Insanity is a 9 speed understable control driver that flies 9 / 5 / -2 / 1.5, more forgiving than the speed number suggests. I throw it flat and it turns over into a long, gliding line, closer in hand feel to a fast fairway driver than a true distance bomber. The 2 cm rim sits comfortably across most grips.
Intermediate players get the most consistent results, and it is a good pick for someone stepping up from a stock fairway driver who wants more distance without losing control. Proton is the most stable plastic option if you want less turn out of the box.
