    Discraft Challenger OS Review

Introducing the Discraft Challenger OS, an outstanding addition to Discraft's putter lineup! With 13+ years of playing and testing disc golf discs, I can confidently say that this putter has met and exceeded far beyond my expectations.

As a more overstable, flat-topped version of the popular Challenger, the Challenger OS excels in driving, headwind throws, weaving forehand approaches, and Garrett Gurthie-style hyzer putts.

With flight numbers of 2 / 3 / 0 / 3, it has just the right amount of stability without becoming a meat hook.

I've always enjoyed putting with Challengers, Roaches, and Lunas, but the Challenger OS adds that extra touch of glide and stability I've been craving. And while the Challenger OS has a slightly deeper feel, it's still comfortable for players with medium to larger sized hands.

The Challenger OS isn't your typical overstable putter. Its bead is slightly larger than a microbead, making it more like an overstable Challenger SS with a bead (lol). It's stable enough not to flip but retains the glide you'd expect from a workhorse putter.

Personal experience has taught me not to judge the Challenger OS by its name alone. It's certainly stable, but not as overstable as I initially expected. In fact, I found it suitable for 30-40 foot putts, providing better glide and more confidence inside circle 1.

As a fan of beaded putters, I must say that the Challenger OS delivers on both performance and feel. It's comparable to popular putters like the Judge or Wizard when used for putting, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a reliable overstable putter.

The Discraft Challenger OS is a fantastic putter option for those who need a touch more stability without sacrificing glide. With its ideal balance of features and exceptional feel, the Challenger OS should be at the top of your list when choosing a new Discraft putter.
