The Axiom Virus is a 9/5/-3.5/1 understable distance driver built for turnovers, rollers, and easy distance. That -3.5 turn is the defining stat here. Release it flat and it immediately sweeps right (for RHBH). Give it an anhyzer angle and it holds a smooth, arcing turnover line the entire flight.
New players will appreciate how forgiving the Virus is. You don't need 400 feet of arm speed to get this disc to fly properly. It reaches full flight at lower power, which means real distance without muscling it. If you're constantly fighting a fade-out at the end of your drives, this disc fixes that.
For experienced throwers, the Virus is a roller machine. Put it on a steep anhyzer and it flips to a roller that keeps cutting for ages. It also handles tailwinds well because the understability keeps the nose from popping up and stalling.
Axiom's gyroscopic rim design (heavier weight in the outer ring) gives the Virus a unique feel in hand and a consistent flight plate. You'll find it in Neutron and Proton plastics. Neutron offers a grippy, opaque feel while Proton is firmer and translucent. Both beat in over time, getting even more understable with wear.
If you need a disc that turns, the Virus does it better than almost anything at the 9-speed range.
