Clash Discs Hardy Butter
1
The Clash Discs Hardy Butter is a stable putter and the firmest plastic option in Clash's Butter line, built for players who want a harder, longer lasting putting putter over a soft grippy one.
Flight Numbers: 2 / 3 / 0 / 1
Hardy plastic is stiff and durable, closer in feel to a baseline blend than a premium one, which is exactly the point. It holds its stability for a long time before it beats in, so the straight, low fade flight you get on day one is still there a couple seasons later. It is not the grippiest plastic on cold mornings, but the beadless, round rim profile keeps the release comfortable no matter the temperature.
Thrown at putting speed the Butter goes flat and stays flat, without much turn or fade showing up even at full power. That straightness is what makes it useful for hyzer and anhyzer approach shots as much as for putting, since the disc holds whatever angle you release it on. Newer players get a forgiving putter that will not punish an off angle release, and more experienced throwers use it as a spin or push putt option when they want a disc that will not fade past the chains.
Prefer a softer feel for cold weather rounds? The Softy Butter is the same mold in a more flexible blend. Want the middle ground between the two? The Steady Butter splits the difference. See the whole Butter lineup.
