Axiom Neutron Crave (Dyer's Delight)
A blank white Axiom Neutron Crave gives you Axiom's most popular fairway driver plastic with nothing dyed on yet. Neutron is one of the best plastics in disc golf for absorbing dye evenly, and starting from white means your colors show up bright instead of muddy.
Flight Numbers: 6.5 / 5 / -1 / 1
Neutron is Axiom's grippy, semi translucent premium plastic. It is soft enough to feel good in cold weather and firm enough to hold its shape through years of rounds. It beats in slowly, so a fresh Neutron Crave and a well thrown one fly close to the same line, just with a slightly softer feel in hand over time. Dye artists like it because the surface takes color smoothly without the speckled look Fission has.
Thrown flat it flies dead straight with almost no turn, then finishes with a light, predictable fade. On a hyzer it holds the line all the way down, and it resists turning over into a headwind better than most drivers this slow. That combination of speed and stability is why the Crave gets compared to a longer Buzzz.
Good for every skill level. Beginners get a fairway driver that will not flip over on them, and experienced players keep it as the disc they trust for a tight, straight fairway line. Forehand throwers get the same torque resistant flight backhand players do.
Want the same mold already dyed and ready to throw? The Cosmic Neutron Crave comes in a swirling factory pattern. Prefer a softer, more affordable plastic to dye instead? The Plasma Crave is worth a look. Browse the whole Neutron plastic collection for more blanks and finished discs.
