Innova Star Orc (Reaper Edition)
The Innova Star Orc is a taller, thinner rimmed speed 10 control driver in grippy Star plastic, built around a beginner friendly overstable fade.
Flight Numbers: 10 / 4 / -1 / 3
Star grips well from the first round and beats in slowly, so the fade you get on day one sticks around for a long time. The taller dome and thinner rim than most distance drivers make it easy to find a clean release even for a smaller or newer hand.
This disc earns the label control driver. The lower glide and blunt nose mean that when it starts to fade, it drops rather than skipping hard to the left, which limits how much a bad shot can go wrong. A beginner arm will find it noticeably overstable at first, with a dramatic hyzer finish, but as arm speed and technique improve the S curve opens up and it becomes a dependable driver for both forehand and backhand. Intermediate players keep it around specifically for headwind holes where a faster driver would fold.
Need a control driver with a defined ceiling? The Champion Orc holds this same flight longer into its life, and the Star Destroyer is the next step up in speed once your arm outgrows this one. See all our Orc discs.
