Champion is Innova's translucent, stiff blend, and Firebirds in this plastic often run flatter than the domed Star version, holding a sharp, pronounced x-wing on the underside that gives a comfortable grip for players who bag a lot of Trilogy discs. It resists tree hits and wear for a long stretch of rounds.

It delivers a massive hooking fade, reason enough on its own to keep it in the bag through every other disc rotation, holding a straight line into real headwinds before fading hard left at the end. Forehand throwers get a predictable, consistent finish, and it's the one exception even brand loyal throwers keep in the bag. Not beginner friendly at all, since it fades fast without enough speed behind it, but essential once you have the arm to control it.
