Halo Star is Innova's premium Star blend dressed up with a metallic foil stamp process, and that extra layer of foil runs a shade firmer and slightly more stable than a plain Star Leopard3 fresh out of the box. It is durable and grippy in the hand, and it holds its flight numbers for a long time before it starts to turn over more with wear.

Thrown smooth and flat it flies laser straight for most of its distance before easing left at the end. Give it real power and it turns hard on release, riding right for most of the flight before coming back, which is the hyzer flip and turnover shot beginners are chasing on tight fairway holes. New players get their first real distance out of this disc because it does not need a big arm to turn over, and it doubles as an anhyzer roller once it wears in more. Advanced throwers keep one around for tailwind holes and S-curve shots where a fully stable driver would fight the wind.
