Innova GStar Leopard3 (Reaper Edition)
The Innova GStar Leopard3 (Reaper Edition) is an understable fairway driver built in Innova's flexible GStar blend, which is the plastic to reach for if you play in the cold. This is the flatter, faster sibling of the original Leopard, and it is one of the easiest fairway drivers in the Innova line to control.
Flight Numbers: 7 / 5 / -2 / 1
GStar stays grippy and flexible even when the temperature drops, which is where stiffer premium plastics start to feel slick. It has a little more dome than Champion versions of the same mold and beats in at a moderate pace, softening into an even easier turnover disc after a season of use rather than getting flippy fast.
Thrown with a smooth release the Leopard3 flies laser straight for most of the flight with a light finish. Add more power and the high speed turn takes over, sending it into a hyzer flip or a full turnover that rides right, which is exactly what a wooded gap shot or a tailwind hole calls for. Beginners get an easy driver that will not punish a flat release, and intermediate players use it as their default turnover disc when the fairway curves the wrong way.
Prefer a firmer, more overstable feel out of the box? The Halo Star Leopard3 tightens up the turn. Want the classic Star version instead? The Star Leopard3 is the one most beginners start with. See every plastic in the Leopard3 collection.
