The Kastaplast K1 Krut is a big, overstable distance driver built to fight through headwinds without diving or rolling away. K1 plastic gives it Kastaplast's usual mix of grip and durability, with a bit of gumminess that helps on release.

K1 plastic breaks in gradually and holds a firm, dependable grip through most conditions, though it runs a bit flippier in warm weather at sea level than its reputation suggests. Cold weather and a confident release lock in more of the overstable character this disc is meant to have, and once seasoned it settles into a strong, predictable fade.
Thrown into a headwind on a hyzer, it holds that line with a gradual fade instead of diving nose first into the ground, which is the shot this disc is built for. On a flat release with real power it will fight back after some turn rather than continuing to flip, giving a stable line with distance and a hard finish. It is not the disc for a flippy, easy turnover shot.
Best for advanced players who want a heavy duty headwind driver and are comfortable putting real power behind it. Beginners may find it turns over more than expected until they build up arm speed.
