Innova Halo Star Teebird3
44
The Innova Halo Star Teebird3 is a faster, flatter version of the original Teebird, made in Innova's most overstable plastic. Halo Star pushes the stock fade up from the usual 2 to something closer to 2.5 or 3, so this is the Teebird3 to grab when you want extra insurance in the wind.
Flight Numbers: 8 / 4 / 0 / 2
Halo Star is stiff and grips well across most weather, and it takes longer to beat in than Star or GStar, which means the added overstability sticks around for a long time. The flatter top compared to the original Teebird gives a cleaner release for forehand flex shots, while still feeling natural for a backhand fairway drive.
Thrown flat this driver holds a straight line and finishes with a dependable fade rather than dumping early, and it refuses to flip over even in a strong headwind. That makes it a go to disc for tunnel shots through trees and any dogleg left hole where you need the disc to finish left on command. Intermediate and advanced players use it as a control driver they can trust in wind, and it is beginner friendly enough to double as a utility disc while newer players build up arm speed.
Same mold, different plastic: the Star Teebird3 gives you the classic feel with a touch less overstability. Prefer a speckled, extra grippy plastic instead? Try the Metal Flake Teebird3. Browse the rest of the overstable fairway drivers.
