Discraft Z-Swirl Avenger (Ledgestone 2022)
1
The Discraft Z-Swirl Avenger is a 2022 Ledgestone release of a driver that helped Nate Doss win the 2005 Pro World Championships, now cast in a swirled Z blend that puts a different color pattern on every disc. The Avenger is semi out of production, so special releases like this one are the main way to get your hands on the mold.
Flight Numbers: 10 / 5 / 0 / 3
Z-Swirl keeps the same firmness and durability as standard Z plastic while mixing colors through the blend instead of running a single tone, so no two discs in a batch look the same. It holds its overstability the way any Z plastic does, taking tree hits and pavement scuffs without losing much of its flight over time.
Thrown flat it resists turning over through the whole first stage of flight before fading hard at the end, which makes it a strong choice for headwind holes and wooded fairways where a flippier driver would sail wide. It suits intermediate to advanced players with the arm speed to keep the disc from dumping early, and it is not a great pick for someone still building power. If this exact run becomes hard to find, the flight is easy to replace with a sibling plastic.
Want the same mold in a more common plastic? The Discraft ESP Avenger SS gives you a grippier feel. Prefer the standard Z tone without the swirl? Try the Discraft Z Avenger SS. Shop the rest of our overstable distance drivers.
