Latitude 64 Royal Grand Raptor Eye Sockibomb Rive
1
The Latitude 64 Royal Grand Raptor Eye Sockibomb Rive is Ricky Wysocki's signature take on the Rive, an overstable distance driver made in Royal Grand plastic with a two-color Raptor Eye stamp on top. It flies like a faster, more overstable Destroyer, and I reach for it when I need a driver that will not fold in the wind.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 5 / 0 / 3.5
Royal Grand is Latitude 64's premium blend built with NexEdge rim technology and a NexFeel core, grippy without being sticky, softer than the standard Opto and Gold Line hybrid but firmer than a gummy base plastic. It resists chunking on tree strikes and keeps its flight numbers for a long time, which matters on a disc this overstable.
Ripped flat it holds a long, controlled line and finishes with a strong, predictable fade instead of dumping early, which is what gives it so much glide for an overstable driver. On a hyzer it will not budge off that hyzer, and into a headwind it stays flat and fights through instead of flipping up.
Big arms get 300 to 400 feet out of it and use it for stand-still forehand bombs and hyzer bombs through wind. It is too much disc for most new players, so if you are still building arm speed, look at something with less fade first.
Want the same disc without the signature stamp? The Latitude 64 Royal Grand Rive flies identically. Prefer a proven overstable name? The Innova Star Destroyer is the disc it gets compared to most often. Browse our overstable distance drivers.
