Latitude 64 Opto Ballista
3
The Latitude 64 Opto Ballista is a fast, overstable driver built for players who already have a speed 14 arm, since anything slower turns it into a heavy, meaty disc that stalls out early. Opto plastic in particular runs on the stiffer, more overstable end of how this mold can fly.
Flight Numbers: 14 / 5 / -1 / 3
Opto is Latitude 64's translucent, durable premium blend, tough enough to survive years of hard throws without losing its shape. It comes in a wide range of see-through colors, and it holds its overstable character longer than the softer Gold Line runs of this mold.
A full speed release gets a long, controlled fade at the end rather than an early dump, comparable in distance to a Nuke or Daedalus for players who already carry those. Anything less than a fast, clean pull and it just muscles over instead of opening up, capping out around 300 feet for a moderate arm. It rewards good form more than most discs in the catalog, and it's a strong choice for shaped shots that need a dependable, hard finishing fade into wind.
Not quite up to full speed yet? The Innova GStar Destroyer is a friendlier starting point. Want the same shape with a frosty look for winter rounds? The Opto Ice Orbit Ballista carries the same flight. Browse our overstable distance drivers.
