Innova Toro (Calvin Heimburg Color Glow)
10
This Innova Toro carries Calvin Heimburg's signature stamp in Champion Color Glow plastic, on one of the most overstable approach discs Innova makes. It is a flat, beadless midrange built to handle heavy torque without folding.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 2 / 1 / 3
Champion Color Glow starts out stiffer than other Champion blends and softens with use, breaking in a little quicker while picking up extra flexibility and grip along the way. It glows enough to help you spot it at dusk without needing a dedicated night disc, and the smooth transition from dome to rim edge gives a comfortable release whether you power grip it backhand or flick it forehand.
Compared to a Discraft Zone, the Toro drops out of the sky with less glide, less skip, and less side to side movement, landing almost exactly where it lands with very little ground play. That makes it a strong pick for anything under 275 feet where you want a hard, predictable fade instead of a longer glide. It excels on forehand shots but releases just as clean backhand.
Good for intermediate to advanced players who want a reliable overstable approach disc for windy conditions or technical upshots, especially forehand throwers who want a clean, confident release.
Want the same flight without the signature stamp? The Star Toro is the standard version. Compare it to the Discraft ESP Zone for a disc with more glide. Browse our overstable putters.
