Clash Discs Hardy Mint
1
The Clash Discs Mint in Hardy plastic is an overstable approach disc with a rim shaped close to a Zone or Harp, and Hardy is the firmest blend Clash makes it in.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 3 / 0 / 3
Hardy plastic is stiffer and grippier straight out of the bag than Clash's Steady blend, and it holds that firmness through a lot more rounds before it starts to soften. If you play in the rain or cold and hate a putter that goes slick, this is the plastic to reach for.
Thrown flat or on a hyzer it goes out and dumps hard at the end, which is exactly what you want from an approach disc when you need it to stop instead of skip past the pin. It handles wind better than a glidy putter would, so it is a good choice on exposed holes. Forehand and backhand throwers both get a comfortable grip out of the rim shape, and it is a solid upshot disc for anyone whose misses tend to run long.
Want the same mold in a softer, grippier plastic? The Softy Mint beats in faster. Prefer a middle ground? Try the Mint Steady. See the whole lineup in Mint.
