Axiom Fission Fireball
1
The Axiom Fireball in Fission plastic is an overstable control driver built for headwinds and forehand shots, and it does not care how hard you throw it or how much anhyzer you put on it, it is coming back left.
Flight Numbers: 9 / 3.5 / 0 / 3.5
Fission is a translucent, grippy premium blend, looser feeling in the hand than Neutron and a bit stiffer than Proton. On most Axiom molds Fission runs a touch more understable than Neutron, but the Fireball is so overstable to begin with that Fission mostly just improves the grip in the rain, the flight barely changes.
Full power backhand throws get a short, controlled push before the disc fights back to center and finishes with a hard fade, no matter how flat or hyzer the release is. Forehand throwers get even more out of it: aim left and let it hold that line into the wind. This is not a beginner disc. Slower arms will feel the whole flight as fade with no glide, but a bigger arm or anyone who plays a lot of headwind holes will find this one of the most dependable overstable drivers in the bag.
Want a little more glide out of the same mold? The Plasma Fireball gives you that. Need it in Neutron for a beat-in feel sooner? Grab the Neutron Fireball. See the whole lineup in Fireball.
