Axiom Eclipse 2.0 Glow Envy
20
The Axiom Eclipse 2.0 Glow Envy is an overstable putt and approach disc, the same mold James Conrad threw for the "holy shot" on hole 18 at the 2021 World Championships, now in Axiom's brightest glow blend.
Flight Numbers: 3 / 3 / 0 / 2
Eclipse 2.0 Glow charges up fast under any light and holds that glow longer than Axiom's other glow runs, which is the whole reason to pick this plastic over base Neutron. It runs a little stiffer out of the box than Neutron, so it takes longer to beat in, but once it does it settles into a dead straight approach disc that still glows on the walk back from a twilight round.
The shallow rim and rounded wing sit clean in a putting grip and set up fast for backhand approach shots, though a forehand release takes a little getting used to with the thicker wing. Thrown flat it holds a straight line at speed before a gentle, predictable fade, and it takes a full power drive without turning over, which is why it doubles as a driving putter as much as an inside the circle putt. New players get a forgiving flat release to learn from, and anyone who already carries an Envy in another plastic will find the Glow flies the same, just visible after dark.
Want it without the glow for daytime rounds? The Neutron Envy is the same flight in Axiom's grippiest everyday plastic. Prefer more give in the hand? The Plasma Envy softens up faster. Browse the whole Envy lineup.
