The MVP Relativity in Proton plastic is a fast, understable distance driver built for controlled turnovers, rollers, and high line bombs. MVP puts it in their 24.5mm wide rim class, the more understable half of that pair, and it is one of the fastest wide rim drivers they make.

Proton is MVP’s translucent premium plastic, stiffer and a bit slicker in the hand than Neutron, and on a rim this wide that stiffness matters, it keeps the disc’s edge from flexing under a hard rip. It is domey rather than flat, which adds to the glide, and it holds up fine to the kind of power this disc demands.

Released on a slight hyzer it pops up and holds a straight, gliding line before a fade brings it home late, and it cuts through crosswind better than its flight numbers would suggest. It has a fairly small window though, get the angle wrong and it turns into more of a roller than a drive, so it rewards a consistent release more than raw power. Advanced players use it as their go-to for tailwind and downhill bombs, and it is not the easiest driver for a newer arm to control.
