Plasma is MVP’s grippiest premium plastic, tacky on the thumb even without a lot of pressure, and it keeps that grip through wet mornings better than a harder blend. The flat, low profile design sits nicely under the fingers for a controlled release, and the plastic holds its stable flight for a long stretch of play.

Thrown flat it holds a straight line with real glide and finishes with a light, forward fade, and it pulls real distance out of a lower power swing thanks to the overmold’s extra spin. Give it a hyzer and it will flip up, glide out to the right, and either fade back or slide down depending on the height of the release. Newer and intermediate players get a workhorse driver that goes exactly where it is aimed, and it is comfortable for forehand throwers too.
