MVP Neutron Wave (Simon Lizotte DGLO Champ)
The MVP Neutron Wave with the Simon Lizotte DGLO Champ stamp is a stable, high speed distance driver that commemorates Lizotte's DGLO win, on the same Wave mold that has been a workhorse in the MVP line for years. Neutron plastic is the grippy, durable option this mold flies in most often.
Flight Numbers: 11 / 5 / -2 / 2
Neutron takes a while to soften up, so a fresh Wave in this plastic runs a little more stable than the numbers suggest until it gets some rounds on it. Once it beats in, the grip stays workable in wet weather and the disc holds up well to tree contact for something with this much speed behind it.
The Wave is basically an Inertia with a wider rim, which makes it faster and a bit longer without changing the shape of the flight much. Thrown flat it turns gently before fading back, and on a hyzer release it will glide out and turn over more than a beginner might expect, so it rewards a player who already has some arm speed. Intermediate throwers use it as a dependable distance option, and it is a fun disc to bag next to a flippier driver for tailwind holes.
Want the same flight without the commemorative stamp? The MVP Neutron Wave is the standard run. Prefer a shinier, slightly softer plastic? The MVP Plasma Wave flies the same line. Shop the rest of the Wave collection.
