MVP Neutron Energy
1
The MVP Energy in Neutron plastic is a high speed, very overstable distance driver built to fight headwinds and keep flying straight when a lighter disc would fold. It is the most overstable of MVP’s 23mm class, and it takes real arm speed to put it to work.
Flight Numbers: 13 / 4 / 0 / 4
Neutron is MVP’s standard opaque plastic, tough and easy to grip even with cold or half numb hands. It holds its overstable flight for a long time before it starts to soften, so an Energy stays a headwind fighter for a lot of rounds before it mellows into something more workable.
Thrown flat or on any hyzer it fights back hard and refuses to turn over, exactly the point when the wind is against you. It is not a beginner disc, the speed and the meathook fade need power behind them or the disc just falls out of the sky short. Big arms use it for punching out of trouble on any angle, and anyone who plays a lot of exposed, windy holes will want one in the bag.
Throwing into wind a lot? The Innova Star Destroyer is the other overstable bomber players reach for in the same conditions. Want something a step less punishing? The Discraft ESP Heat flips over easier for the same headwind work. Browse the rest of our overstable distance drivers.
