Alpha-Solid is Loft's premium blend: smooth, glossy, and comfortable even for players who usually avoid sharp-rimmed high speed drivers. It grips well without feeling tacky and holds its flight for a long time before it starts to turn over.

It carries a long, easy glide for a 14 speed driver, and slower arms often get more out of it than the number on the box suggests, some throwers feel the disc closer to a 12 or 13 speed until their release gets fast enough to unlock the full flight. Thrown with enough speed it holds straight with a bit of turn before fading back at the finish.

Intermediate players with smaller hands or a shorter run-up like the rounded rim because it releases clean off the fingers. Big arms use it for true max distance tee shots, and it makes a good compliment to a flatter-rimmed overstable driver already in the bag.
