Luster Champion is Innova's glossy, firm blend, a step up in shine from regular Champion with the same durability against trees and pavement. The flatter top and modified nose on the Teebird3 make it more resistant to torque than the original Teebird, which shows up most in windy conditions when other fairway drivers start to wobble off line.

Thrown flat it holds a straight line with a clean, gradual fade rather than a hard dump at the end, and it stays composed in a headwind where lighter fairway drivers fold. I like it best as a forehand flex disc, the thinner rim sits close to a midrange in the hand and comes out clean with a flick release. It's a strong fit for anyone replacing a Thunderbird who wants the same trustworthy flight in a slightly more comfortable rim, and a good utility disc for newer players learning to trust a flat release before adding turn to their throws.
