Champion plastic with metal flake keeps all of Champion's usual stiffness and long-term durability, just with a sparkle finish that makes each disc a little easier to spot in the rough. It holds its flight through years of hard use and will not go soft the way base plastic does.

On a flat forehand release with real power this disc rides out for a long stretch of glide before a reliable fade closes the flight, and it turns more than the numbers suggest for players still building up to a full speed 14 arm. Champion Corvettes fly closer to a Destroyer than the Star run of the same mold, which is worth knowing if you already throw one in Star and expect an identical feel. Intermediate players with a developing arm speed can still get real use out of it, though the biggest distance shows up once your speed catches up to the disc.
