Discraft Recycled ESP Thrasher
The Discraft Recycled ESP Thrasher is a fast, understable distance driver made from reclaimed ESP plastic, aimed at a slower arm that still wants real distance.
Flight Numbers: 12 / 5 / -3 / 2
Recycled ESP holds the same grippy, tacky feel as virgin ESP, just poured from reclaimed regrind so the colors come out marbled instead of solid. It is durable enough for regular fairway use and beats in at the usual ESP pace, gaining a little more turn as it wears without ever going flippy.
This is not a flippy disc, even with a soft release it turns over cleanly and holds a long, controlled glide before finishing on a gentle hyzer, which is what makes it work for a slower arm chasing distance without fighting the flight. A big arm gets the same shot with more carry and can push it into a full anhyzer line that stays out until the very end. It is a strong pick for anyone replacing a beat-in understable driver that has gotten too flippy to trust.
New to distance drivers? Start with a plastic that will not turn flippy too fast, and the standard Discraft ESP Thrasher flies the same numbers in virgin plastic. Want a plastic that holds this exact flight for years? The Discraft Z Thrasher beats in the slowest of the bunch. Browse our Thrasher lineup.
