Axiom Neutron Hex (Dyer's Delight)
2
A blank Axiom Neutron Hex is your next dye project waiting to happen. Neutron takes dye better than almost any plastic in disc golf, soaking up bright, saturated color instead of turning muddy, and the Hex underneath it is the same straight flying midrange every Axiom bag already carries.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / -1 / 1
Neutron is Axiom's grippy, semi translucent premium plastic. It feels good in cold weather when firmer blends turn slick, and it holds up to years of rounds without chalking out. Because it starts undyed here, the color you add sits directly on the plastic with nothing underneath to interfere, which is exactly why dye artists reach for Neutron over almost anything else in the Axiom line.
Thrown flat the Hex holds a straight line with a touch of glide most stable midranges do not have, then finishes with a short, easy fade. On a hyzer it tracks the line cleanly, and it does not fold in a headwind. That extra glide over a Buzzz style flight is what makes it carry a little further on flex shots and long approaches.
Good for every skill level. New players get a forgiving, straight flying midrange to learn placement shots on, and experienced players use it as a dependable go to for wind and inconsistent releases. Forehand throwers like the beadless rim just as much as backhand throwers do.
