Aaron Wilmot started Thought Space Athletics as an apparel company after spotting a gap at the 2012 World Championships, and it took seven more years before the brand pressed its first disc. Every mold since is manufactured by MVP, but the plastic runs a little stiffer and more durable than standard MVP blends, and the spiritual, science-themed stamp art is the first thing you notice on the shelf.
Aura plastic mirrors MVP's Neutron: opaque, durable, and grippy, seen on the Aura Pathfinder. Ethos runs translucent and more overstable like Proton, the plastic behind the Ethos Mantra. Ethereal has the metallic sheen of Plasma and beats in faster than the other two, a softer, more understable feel for players who like a disc that turns over sooner.
The Pathfinder midrange flies close to a Discraft Buzzz and suits any arm speed, while the Mantra fairway driver reads similar to an Axiom Insanity with a touch more glide. See the full Pathfinder lineup or the overstable Animus distance driver.
