Thought Space Athletics Ethos Animus Review
Thought Space's Ethos plastic is a premium very stable plastic that is stiff, has excellent grip, and can withstand a ton of damage. I like to compare TSA Ethos plastic to Innova's Champion plastic, but with slightly more stability. It comes in gorgeous translucent colors, too.
The Ethos Animus is an extremely popular distance driver, having sold out of the first run very quickly. With a speed of 10.5, the Animus is perfect for intermediate and advanced players, but beginners can also use this overstable driver for forehand shots.
When thrown straight, this driver will have a tiny amount of turn before quickly straightening out and finishing with a decent amount of fade. If you throw with some anhyzer you can easily get the Animus to flex into a full S-curve for 300+ feet.
Being primarily a forehand player, the Ethos Animus is my go-to driver when I need to bomb a flick shot for max distance. It has the perfect amount of overstability to allow as much arm speed as you want to give it, and the small rim fits nicely in my hand when gripping for forehands.
You can't really go wrong with a Thought Space Animus, so don't wait to long to pick one up! If you are looking for a different Animus plastic we also sell the Thought Space Aura Animus and the Ethereal Animus too.
