Innova Star Teebird3 (Reaper Edition)
The Innova Star Teebird3, in our Reaper stamped run, is the fairway driver I recommend to anyone whose Thunderbird keeps getting pushed around by wind. It flies almost identically to that mold, but the rim is thinner and easier on the hand.
Flight Numbers: 8 / 4 / 0 / 2
Star gives it Innova's standard grip and durability, and it actually improves with a little wear, the flight locks in and feels more settled than a disc straight out of the bag. The thin rim sits closer to a midrange in the hand than most of Innova's fairway drivers, close enough to compare to a Buzzz.
Thrown flat it holds a straight line and refuses to turn over even into a strong headwind, fading out gradually instead of dumping hard, good for around 270 feet before it settles. On calmer days it flies close to neutral, so give it a touch of hyzer if you want a guaranteed finish. It's a strong pickup for anyone needing 300 to 320 feet of dead accurate distance on both backhand and forehand flex lines, and a good utility disc for a newer player still learning to trust a flat release.
Prefer the same accuracy with a firmer, glossier feel? The Luster Champion Teebird3 is the same mold in Innova's polished blend. Want the original with a bit more glide instead? The Champion Teebird is the mold this one is built from. Browse our overstable fairway drivers.
