Champion is Innova's clear, durable blend. It runs a touch overstable out of the box and softens into the dead straight, small fade flight the numbers describe over a season of rounds. I keep two Champion Teebirds at different stages of wear for that reason, one for the stiffer hyzer hold and one fully broken in for the ruler straight shot. It shrugs off tree hits without chunking.

Release it flat and it holds dead straight before a short, gentle fade, the kind of flight that parks a 300 foot drive three feet from the chains instead of skipping past it. On hyzer it stays on hyzer, and in wind it doesn't fold over the way lighter fairway drivers do. Slower arms get honest 250 to 300 foot flights at partial power, and bigger arms find plenty in the tank once it opens up. It's a solid forehand disc too, the beadless rim sits well in a flick grip.
