The Axiom Prism Proton Pyro in our Reaper Edition is a beadless overstable midrange molded in Axiom's Prism Proton blend, a firmer variation on Proton with a glittery finish under our own custom stamp.

Prism Proton is stiffer out of the box than base Neutron, and it takes torque well, which shows up most when you throw forehand. It does not want to twist off your hand mid-release the way a softer plastic can, so the flight stays true even on a rushed throw. The Prism finish also means the shimmer sits inside the plastic instead of wearing off with use.

Thrown flat it holds a straight line and finishes with a firm fade, which makes it useful for shots that need to end left and stay there. On a forehand it is just as trustworthy as on a backhand, which is unusual for a midrange this overstable.

Good for players who throw both sides and want one disc that behaves the same regardless of which way it leaves your hand. It is a solid choice for wooded holes where you need the disc to hold a hyzer line without turning over.
