The Axiom Fireball in Proton plastic is an overstable distance driver built for wind and forehand power. Axiom describes it as a beat in Motion or a firmer Tesla, and once you throw it that comparison makes sense. It resists turn at high speed the way very few nine speed drivers do, holding its line hard on a steep anhyzer instead of drifting off course.

Proton is Axiom's firm, glassy plastic. It grips better in cold weather than it looks like it should, and it shrugs off tree strikes without denting the rim. It does not soften much with age, so the overstable flight you get on day one is close to the flight you get two years later. That makes Proton the plastic to reach for if you want this mold to stay a meat hook.

Thrown flat it pushes forward briefly, then locks into a hard fade that holds through wind most drivers cannot handle. On a full power anhyzer it still fights back to hyzer and finishes straight down. Forehand throwers get the most out of it, since the high speed turn resistance keeps a flick from ever flipping over.

This is not a first driver. It rewards a big arm and a headwind, and it is the disc to grab when a lighter overstable mold starts to turn over on you. Slower arms will see mostly fade with little glide.
