Kastaplast Gote (K1)
4
The Kastaplast K1 Gote is the standard, non-glow run of this midrange, the big sibling to the Kastaplast Svea with a bit more stability and a touch less speed. It's built for straight, low ceiling tunnel shots through narrow gaps, but it handles a lot more than that.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 5 / 0 / 1
K1 is Kastaplast's grippy, ultra premium blend, and it holds up for a long time before it starts to soften. In the hand it runs tall and a little domed, closer to a stretched out putter than a typical midrange, so give yourself a round or two to adjust the grip.
Powered down to 50 to 70 percent and released flat it goes dead straight with only a few feet of fade at the very end, and it holds a hyzer line across a wide gap without drifting off course. Push it with full power backhand and it turns over more than expected, so this rewards touch over strength. It's the disc I reach for on tight, low ceiling holes where a Buzzz would fly too far and a putter wouldn't glide far enough.
