The Innova TL3 in Halo Star plastic carries a Reaper stamp on Innova's evolution of the TL, a stable control driver with a little more speed and a little less glide for tighter fairway lines. Halo Star holds its shape and grip through a lot of use, and it makes this fairway driver nearly perfectly stable with a round or two of wear on it. Fresh out of the package it can show a hint of turn, but that settles quickly since the rim's bottom edge protrudes just enough to correct itself. It is stiffer to the touch than Star or Champion, and it handles forehand power especially well.

Thrown flat it holds a controlled, straighter line than the TL with a light fade to finish, exactly the tighter shot the extra speed is meant to deliver. It can handle a lot more power than a Discraft Stalker or similar control driver before turning over, a good replacement if you keep losing that kind of disc to a flip you did not expect. Intermediate players use it for tailwind drives and long, straight tunnel shots, and it pairs well with a Thunderbird for two different flavors of straight.
