Innova Halo Polecat
13
The Innova Halo Polecat carries the same dead straight flight the mold is famous for, this time in Innova's beefiest, most overstable plastic. It is the version to grab if you want a Polecat that lasts far longer than a base line DX.
Flight Numbers: 1 / 3 / 0 / 0
Halo plastic is stiff, durable, and more overstable than regular Star, so it takes real abuse before it starts to change how this disc flies. It does not have the tacky, chalky grip of DX, but it will not warp the way a heavily used DX Polecat can either.
Zero fade and a speed 1 rating mean this disc holds any line it is thrown on, hyzer, anhyzer, or flat, without correcting itself the way a more overstable putter would. That makes it a forgiving disc for beginners still learning what a clean release angle looks like, and a reliable straight approach disc for anyone who wants a predictable layup. The deep, near vertical rim takes some adjusting for a power grip, and it works better as a straight shot approach disc than a forehand putter for most hands.
Want the same straight shape in a softer, grippier plastic? The DX Polecat is the original. Prefer a slicker premium feel? The Star Polecat sits in between. Browse the rest of the stable putters.
