The Discmania Neo Instinct is a stable fairway driver in Neo plastic, one of the first molds to come out of Discmania's Evolution line by Latitude 64, and it earns its slot as a go-to control driver when you want a straight line finishing in a light fade.

Neo plastic feels closer to a slightly less grippy K1 than it does to Innova Star, stiff and a little slick fresh out of the package, and it beats in slowly so the flight holds for a long time. It has good tooth for a backhand release, though some forehand throwers find the flatter feel less comfortable than a domed fairway driver.

Thrown flat with real speed it rides a touch right for most of the flight before straightening out and finishing with a confident push fade, similar to a fast Teebird with more glide. It is picky about nose angle: a nose-up release can turn it into an S-curve or a crash to the right, so this rewards a clean, flat release more than a forgiving one.

That makes it a good disc for an intermediate player working on release consistency, and a reliable point and shoot driver for anyone who already throws flat and level.
