Discmania C-Line MD3
11
The Discmania MD3 in C-Line plastic is the workhorse midrange that dethroned a lot of Roc3s in a lot of bags, and it has been Discmania's best-selling midrange for a reason. Straight, glidy, and predictable is the whole pitch, and it delivers.
Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / 0 / 1
C-Line is Discmania's translucent premium plastic, a little gummier in the hand than Champion plastic and just as durable. It grips well in the wet, sticks the release, and holds its shape through impact. It beats in slower than most premium blends, but once it does, the MD3 picks up a touch of turn at full power instead of staying dead flat.
Out of the box it flies stable and straight, holding a line with real power behind it and finishing with a solid, consistent fade in any wind. It holds a headwind about as well as anything in this speed class, which is why it replaces a McPro Roc3 in a lot of bags on breezy days. Slower arms get a lot of effortless glide out of it for easy distance, and once it wears in it turns slightly more neutral, staying useful even as a beat-in disc. It is a fair straight-line workhorse for beginners learning what a clean midrange release feels like, and advanced players use it as the disc they measure other midranges against.
Want more high speed turn out of the same mold? The S-Line MD3 flexes more before it settles. Looking for extra durability with a shimmer? The Metal Flake C-Line MD3 is the one to grab. See the whole lineup in Discmania MD3.
