Prodigy D3 Air
1
The Prodigy D3 Air is the thinnest driver in Prodigy's distance line, an ultra-fast disc in the lightweight Air blend that leans overstable once you put real speed on it.
Flight Numbers: 12 / 6 / -2 / 2
At just 1.7 centimeters tall, the D3 is the slimmest disc in the Prodigy driver lineup, and the Air blend cuts weight further while keeping the same 2.3 centimeter rim and incredible glide. It holds up fine to regular play, though it is not the plastic to reach for if you throw into a lot of trees.
Prodigy built it for hyzer flip shots, and it is stable enough that it will not turn over even on powerful throws. One player calls it their go-to do-it-all distance driver, admitting it is a little touchy to learn at first but rewarding once you figure out how to manipulate the release angle for long, controlled bombs.
Good for intermediate and advanced players chasing max distance, and the grippy but not sticky plastic makes it comfortable through a full round. A newer player can still get real distance out of it, it just takes a bit more practice than a slower fairway driver.
Want a thinner rim in your hand? Compare the Prodigy D3 400 for more weight in the same shape, or the Prodigy D3 Max 400 if you want the widest rim in the family. Browse the D3 lineup.
