Plasma is soft and tacky right out of the bag, more grip than the harder MVP blends, and it holds that grip well through cold mornings and wet grass. The stability shifts a little as it beats in, which is normal for this plastic, so an older Octane will turn over a touch more easily than a fresh one.

Thrown flat and open it holds a straight line through most of the flight, takes on some turn at high speed, then hooks back at the end instead of fading hard. It needs open space, wide fairways and tee shots with room for the full turnover before the fade shows up. Medium arm players get the most distance out of it, and it is a good bag filler for anyone who already throws a Wave or an Insanity and wants a slightly more controllable option.
