Electron is MVP’s grippy base line blend, softer and tackier straight off the shelf than Neutron or Proton. It beats in faster too, so the overstable fade on an Electron Entropy softens sooner than it would in a premium plastic, which some setups prefer for a shorter, more controlled finish. It costs less than the premium runs without giving up much grip.

Flat releases hold a short, straight line before the fade kicks in hard, and on an anhyzer it starts fighting back almost immediately, exactly what you want from a chip shot around a tree. On a hyzer it barely turns at all. Intermediate and advanced players use it as a Zone-style alternative for tight approach shots, and forehand throwers like the flat top and small bead for a clean release.
