Lone Star Discs Glow Benny
The Lone Star Discs Glow Benny takes the same straight-to-stable Benny shape and casts it in glow-in-the-dark plastic, so a solid approach putter carries over into night rounds.
Flight Numbers: 3 / 4 / 0 / 2
Glow plastic in this blend charges up fast under a phone flashlight or headlamp and holds its shine for a full night round. It does not sacrifice the stability the Benny is known for, the bead still adds that extra bit of resistance to turning over on a hard forehand release.
Thrown flat it holds a straight line before finishing with a clean, dependable fade, similar to Lone Star's Penny but with a little more push at the end thanks to the bead. It handles wind well too, which matters more at night when you cannot always see the disc drifting off line.
Night league players and anyone who has lost a disc in the dark should keep one of these in the bag. It works as a throwing putter for a bigger arm and as a reliable approach disc for a layup shot when the sun is already down.
