The Latitude 64 Bio Gold Beetle is Latitude 64's take on the old school flying disc shape, closer to a small frisbee than a typical disc golf putter. Bio Gold is their recycled plastic blend, a little less stable and quicker to break in than Zero Medium or Opto.

Bio Gold has a soft, slightly grippy feel and breaks in faster than premium blends, since the recycled material is a touch less rigid to start with. It holds up fine for what this disc is used for, which is closer to trick shots and short game practice than full rounds of tree hits.

A flick of the wrist sends it dead straight for a surprisingly long glide given how slow the speed rating is, and it will not fade back at the end. Add any real power and it pulls understable instead of holding a line, so it rewards touch over strength. Inside 60 feet, it becomes a fun, accurate putter that removes fade from the equation entirely, and it doubles as a genuine throw and catch disc off the course.

Good for players who want a unique short game tool or a disc to play catch with between rounds. It takes some getting used to despite the beginner-friendly flight numbers, since the total lack of fade is different from anything else in a typical bag.
