Kastaplast K3 Reko
3
The Kastaplast K3 Reko is the tacky, grippy version of Kastaplast's stable putt and approach disc, built to fly straight with a short fade at the finish. Where the K1 Reko leans firm, the K3 line trades some of that stiffness for grip that shows up the moment you pull it out of the bag.
Flight Numbers: 3 / 3 / 0 / 1
K3 is Kastaplast's soft, flexible plastic, and on a beaded putter like the Reko that flex helps the disc settle on landing instead of bouncing off the chains. It grips cold hands and wet grass better than K1 does, and it beats in quickly, so a K3 Reko feels broken-in and comfortable within your first few rounds.
Thrown flat it holds a dead straight line with almost no turn, then closes with a light fade right at the basket. It handles a firm anhyzer approach without flipping over, and the beaded rim gives a stable platform for a power grip on longer putts. Beginners get a putter that behaves the same way every time, and anyone switching from a beadless disc will notice the extra confidence the bead gives on a full-power release.
Prefer the beadless daytime version? The K1 Glow Reko holds the same numbers with a glow additive. Want a firmer plastic that beats in slower? The K1 Reko is the standard blend. See the whole Reko lineup for every version.
