Kastaplast K3 Gote
The Kastaplast K3 Gote is a stable midrange with a putter-shaped profile, built for the point-and-shoot shots where a full-speed driver is more disc than the hole calls for. K3 plastic is Kastaplast's grippy, flexible line, and on the Gote it makes an already forgiving mold even easier to control.
Flight Numbers: 4 / 5 / 0 / 1
K3 is soft and tacky compared to K1, with enough flex that it grips wet fairways and cold mornings without sliding off your fingers on release. It beats in faster than K1 too, so the Gote softens into an even straighter flight after a season of rounds, trading a little of that closing fade for more glide.
Flat throws hold a straight line with real glide for a disc this slow, and it finishes with just enough fade to sit down rather than roll away. On a hyzer it stays on hyzer, which makes it a reliable upshot disc for touch approaches under 250 feet. Beginners can throw it with full power and still get a controlled finish, and forehand throwers like the shallow rim for a clean release.
Bag it next to the K1 Gote for a firmer, slower-breaking version of the same disc. Want it visible after dark? The K1 Glow Gote carries the same flight in a glow blend. Browse the rest of the stable midrange discs here.
