The Kastaplast Vass in K1 Hard, Jesse Nieminen's Tour Series run, is a stable distance driver built for long, smooth S-curve lines and tailwind bombs. It is a firmer take on Kastaplast's flagship plastic, stiffer in hand than the standard K1 Vass.

K1 Hard trades a little of the standard blend's flex for extra stiffness, which means it holds its rim shape longer under hard forehand releases and resists warping better over a long season. It is still grippy, just a touch slicker than K1 when brand new.

Thrown flat it turns without going fully understable, flips up nicely on hyzer, and holds a long, glidey S-curve before a reliable fade brings it home, close in feel to a beat-in Destroyer for a lot of throwers. It is a strong forehand distance option; more than one player has picked up 30 to 40 feet of forehand distance switching to this shape. Backhand throwers get a neutral, workable flight that holds turn or stays straight depending on the release angle.
