Kastaplast K1 Glow Vass
1
The Kastaplast K1 Glow Vass is a stable distance driver built for long S-curve lines and tailwind bombs, and it glows in the dark on top of that. Kastaplast shaped the Vass with a flatter, lower profile than most 12 speeds, and that shape is most of what makes this disc work.
Flight Numbers: 12 / 5 / -1.5 / 2
K1 is Kastaplast's premium blend, and Glow is the same plastic with a glow-in-the-dark tint mixed in instead of the usual translucent finish. It is firm, grippy, and holds up to years of use without losing its snap. Across every K1 run I've thrown, the Vass flies the same way batch to batch, so you are not gambling on a bad one.
Thrown on a hyzer with real speed it flips up to flat and rides a long, glidey S-curve before settling into a reliable fade late in the flight. Big arms get real distance out of it, plenty of glide and enough turn to work tailwind holes without ever going full turnover. The flatter, lower profile makes it unusually forehand friendly for a 12 speed, coming out of the hand clean instead of catching on release. Intermediate and advanced throwers with some power behind them get the most out of it; a slower arm may not have the speed to unlock the full S-curve.
Want the same flight without the glow? The Kastaplast K1 Vass is the standard-plastic version. Looking for something a little firmer and faster? The Kastaplast K1 Hard Vass is worth a look. See the rest of our stable distance drivers.
