The Infinite Discs Emperor in Swirly S-Blend plastic is Garrett Gurthie's signature disc, and it flies close enough to an Innova Star Destroyer that I treat the two as interchangeable. This is an overstable distance driver built for intermediate and advanced arms who need a dependable fade in bad weather. Swirly S-Blend adds a marbled color run on top of Infinite's standard blend, so the disc looks as good as it throws.

Swirly S-Blend is grippy and slightly softer than a straight S-Blend or Halo run, with a comfortable, low dome I prefer over the stiffer Signature I-Blend runs. It holds up well to regular play without turning brittle, and the grip stays consistent even after a season of tree hits. If you want more overstability out of the same mold, the Halo S-Blend version runs noticeably beefier.

Release it flat with real power and it holds a long, straight line before settling into a firm fade at the end, the same shape as a fresh Destroyer with a hair less resistance to turn. Advanced throwers with good form are getting well past 400 feet out of I-Blend and Swirly S-Blend runs alike, and the disc handles a headwind without folding. It is not a beginner disc.

You need enough arm speed to get the rim moving before the overstability pays off, but once you have that speed this becomes the workhorse distance driver a lot of sponsored Infinite players carry even though they could throw anything they want.
